Yes, adding primitives looks like a nightmare. But could indeed use a bit more vertices, especially in center splash.

is the one front blob symmetric? because then the front half could be subparted as two mirrored quarters.
(and if it is based on the 2x2 round tile, reuse some ot its subparts...)
