Cannot you use some ring primitives for the black parts? Because I think the resolution is too low, I know not anyone like hi-res patterns, but I would have chosen to match a 48 segment circle instead of a 16 one.

I agree. Use hi-res primitives.
The design of this sign is very distinct. Each section should be 60 degrees.

All lines should go through the centre point.

The normal resolution prims are 16-sided, and not dividable in six equal sections.
A hi-res prim has 48 sides and is dividable in six.
