Excellent work! (need to rummage in my oldies to see if I have one of these boxes...)
Hold nonetheless because:
- no primitives should have color 24 (including edge lines), this color is reserved for type 2 lines. This applies also to other parts in this series. See http://www.ldraw.org/Article512.html#colours
- 2 missing edge lines below the side plates on electric socket end of the car.
Otherwise, you should use Datheader to correctly format your LDraw header (http://home.arcor.de/mikeheide/db86.html)

Comments:
- edgeline missing at base of front plug sockets
- geometry of front sockets does not match existing plugs
(diameter too large)
- front socket currently uses special color 494,
otherwise only being used for eletric studs in instructions.
for other electric parts, we've been using 383.
(check other train parts currently on PT, or currently official files). I think that 383 should be used here as well.

color 494 for the metal is OK: this thread resolves the confusion:
http://forums.ldraw.org/read.php?19,214,323#msg-323
however, the other issues seem to still be present

This file needs the following action:
- edgeline missing at base of front plug sockets
- geometry of front sockets does not match existing plugs
(diameter too large)
- depending on the axle/wheels maybe the slots for the axle has to be rebuild.

BFC INVERTNEXT used to flip a flat primitive.
The edges at the semi circular subfiles, 285s01 should be removed. Surface bleeding?
Don't use capital letters in primitives.
The metal sockets should be removed, and added in the assembly shortcut.
The 0 (zero) at the end of the file is not needed/wanted.
Could use a lot more rect-primitives

tbh this could do with an overhaul - it was one of the first things I wrote around ten years ago :-)

If anyone wants to do some work on this, please feel free. As noted on 3443, I don't have immediate access to the actual part right now so I do not plan on making further changes myself for the time being.
