No, this is a proper subfile.

Is 990 the correct number of the assembly?
If so, do we know the numbers of the body halves, or should they use a u9xxx number?

reasoning behind that:
this part is separately moulded.
that alone makes it a "~part" already.
after that, 2 instances of it are used to form the shortcut 990.dat.
I also think that the electric circuit which currently sits in 990.dat should become a dedicated, separate "~part" if it is kept.
However, I furthermore think that we could/should remove the integrated circuit from 990.dat because it never
will be visible.
