may be split this
1 16 0 0 -10 30 0 0 0 0 30 0 20 0 48\4-4cylo.dat
into a 4 LDU and 16 LDU section?
the spokes attach to the 4 LDU Section and could then have a condline where rounded side meets the rim
e.g. 5 11 18.263163671 -23.801432923 -6 18.263124164 -23.801336852 -10 14.9993 -25.9804 -10 19.344763861 -23.528812264 -10.1648

imho not worth the trouble. The added condlines would also perturbate shading of the cylinder (the shading of section between spokes would no longer match the shading of the rest of cylinder) so we trade an imperfection with another.
