contains a line
2 383 111.47 -8.00 55.27 122.35 -8.00 56.91
which will not have the desired effect.
that line will get the wrong color.

solution:
model this whole file in colors 16/24,
and then reference it from its parent part using the metal color.
note that our library is very inconsistent in regards of
whether 383 or 494 is correct for it.

found still a stray color 383 line in the file.
while being at it, replaced the hardcoded color in this file by 16,
the referencing parent parts will reference this file then by color 494,
thus the edges here will get correct color

Steffen,

since you fixed some errors, why didn't you go all the way and added the missing edges instead off adding the "Needs Work". BTW you could have got rid off the T-junk.

because I didn't have enough time and resources.
you can continue if you want.
this is my hobby, not my job.

Regarding the edges: I was not sure which of them are present in the parent file already, as this is a subpart.
Just adding them here could create duplicate edges in the parent.
Checking that would have cost me too much time which I did not have at that point of time.

And I also do not like this kind of "education" and "telling me what to do" about T junctions:
if you do not like them, go ahead and remove them yourself.
I personally could live with them in this small subpart, therefore did not care of removing them.
Removing them from all files is lots and lots of work, and I came to the conclusion that my time is better
invested in other error corrections.
That is a personal decision by each of us, and I think you should leave this right to each one of his own,
because this is a hobby, and the precious private time needs to be spilled over all the parts
that need care and love.
