For me it's just a bar with (bat) wings.
Sure it can be used as a weapon but weapon does not describe its shape.
I would like to see weapon just as a keyword. Other opinions?

What's relationship with 55707c? Description needs to make these two parts sorted together if possible, while highlighting difference.

Agree on the description, weapon can be removed.
But I totally missed this part being already created, 55707c is the same part but less rounded. Since the part is small, smooth curves is not really important I guess? I am open to suggestions on keeping this part, don't want to just replace exiting parts because we can use LDD designs now.

Early Batman sets used 55707 sprue (http://brickset.com/parts/design-55707) while more recent have a 98721 separated batarang, but part desighn itself seems very similar. I tend to prefer you more detaied version, we could keep this one, and make 55707c an alias (while keeping original author and history).

Updated description and comments, in sorting this is not directly next to the existing batarang but very close.

Yes, I agree.
55707c should be made an alias of this more detailed LDD design.
