It's undoubtedly presumptuous of me to ask but could the pattern be turned 40 degrees (or -50) so that it would be easier to match with LDD's orientation?

(LDD has the big crack and the end in opposite corners when the part is put straight. Now it needs to be turned 230 degrees, it would be neater if it were 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees.)

Here's the part in LDD: http://slswww.free.fr/98138p84_LDD.jpg

A bit more on the rationale:
For the other parts, the shape and studs limit the choice of a "up" to at most 4 choices (multiples of 90 degrees). So I only planed for these 4 rotations in lxf2ldr.
98138 is the only printed part that has no clear orientation (though the real part's underside isn't really round).
And I believe that, with auto-snapping becoming the norm, it would be more user-friendly to have the parts in a "clean" or "straight" orientation in both LDD and LDraw versions. (If you present a part, it will be turned to be aligned to the part you want to connect it to.)

Now, as I already added a 7pi/6 turn for 98138p07, if it's too much bother for you or if you used the real part orientation (relatively to its underside), I could add another special turn for 98138p84.

Thanks for the picture.

I will rotate is according to the LDD orientation. Let me know if there are other 1x1 tiles that required a rotation, e.g. the Sushi tile or the octagonal patterned pieces.

To orient it the way it is really printed is not feasible in my view, as the part probably won't be adjusted/rotated before they apply the print.

Thanks :)
Indeed, I hadn't thought about how they print it. This part could be turned any which way in the machine.
As for other patterns, LDD has only the 3 eyes (open, half-closed, closed) and this ammonite :(
