Hi Bruno,

welcome to the piranha pool! We will do our best to fill your spare time with much of frustration :-P

* According to this picture:

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/IvsAAOSwVL1V-rqc/s-l300.jpg

It looks like like yellow not yellow and a white shirt not Maersk Blue.

* The writing on the badge should be centered. We correct misalignment in the printing and author the pattern "ideal"
* The badge should also be at level
* I further suggest that you use a 1-4 disk prim for the border:

4 2 6.482 15.967 -10 5.945 15.967 -10 6.008 16.198 -10 6.261 16.496 -10
3 2 6.482 15.967 -10 6.261 16.496 -10 6.577 16.661 -10

* There is some IMHO superfluous detail (some examples)

2 4 -2.846 6.512 -10 -2.846 6.579 -10
2 4 -.348 12.132 -10 -.348 12.198 -10
2 4 8.4 17 0 8.5 18.2 -9.9
2 4 -3.573 12.893 -10 -3.542 12.926 -10

which could easily merged in LDPE

* Try avoiding long stretched triangles as they give renderer a hard time:

3 5 -1.107 12.496 -10 -.474 16.926 -10 -.474 16.727 -10

A better triangulation would be:

3 10 -1.107 17.9 -10 -.474 17.488 -10 -.474 16.926 -10
3 10 -1.107 17.9 -10 -.474 16.926 -10 -.474 16.727 -10
3 10 -1.107 17.9 -10 -.474 16.727 -10 -.474 15.504 -10
3 10 -1.107 17.9 -10 -.474 15.504 -10 -.506 15.14 -10
3 10 -1.107 17.9 -10 -.506 15.14 -10 -1.107 12.496 -10

* Why are these vertices in the middle and not at the border:

2 1 1.5 25.4 -10 1.6 28.2 -10
2 1 1.5 25.4 -10 1.4 24.5 -10
2 1 1.4 24.5 -10 1.6 22.6 -10

* Check:

2 9 18.968 28.812 -10 19 29 -10
2 9 19 29 -10 19 29.623 -10

* There are 2 blanks in front of "set 10219" and please delete ", part 973, torso. " as they are not needed.

Hi Holly-Wood. Thank you very much for the feedback.

About the color:
I changed the shirt and badge color to white. Looks like the dark blue background was confusing me.
About the yellow, looks like it's the same problem. I couldn't find the right color. I made a little tool to find the closes LDraw color, but the background is causing some problems.
I this pic the yellow print is stronger:
https://www.picclickimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/z/P4kAAOSwgHxe1xb5/$/LEGO-10219-Maersk-Train-Minifigure-Bearded-Man-With-_57.jpg

* The writing on the badge should be centered. We correct misalignment in the printing and author the pattern "ideal"
* The badge should also be at level

Both done.

* I further suggest that you use a 1-4 disk prim for the border:

Done

* There is some IMHO superfluous detail (some examples)

Done. probably the are more spots to be ironed out hehehehe.

* Try avoiding long stretched triangles as they give renderer a hard time:

I think I got rid of the worst ones. Looks like the only way to solve it is creating more vertices, right?

* Why are these vertices in the middle and not at the border:

I put they there because I was afraid of adding vertices on lines. Fixed.

* There are 2 blanks in front of "set 10219" and please delete ", part 973, torso. " as they are not needed.

Done.

Hope it's a little better now. Thank you for the help. Learned a few tricks trying to solve this problems.

Looks much better.

* However LDPE report two Collinear vertices:

3 22 1.75 22.65 -10 1.75 25 -10 1.75 27.2 -10
3 22 1.75 18.6 -10 1.75 20.6 -10 1.75 22.65 -10

* Some more candidates for better triangulation:

4 4 3.447 6.017 -10 3.731 6.479 -10 4.522 5.62 -10 3.194 5.587 -10
4 4 -5.312 11.504 -10 -6.008 10.215 -10 -7.051 10.975 -10 -6.324 12.231 -10
3 4 -7.051 10.975 -10 -6.609 11.934 -10 -6.324 12.231 -10
3 4 3.447 6.017 -10 3.636 6.446 -10 3.731 6.479 -10
4 4 -3.6 21.19 -10 -4.206 14.149 -10 -4.332 20.826 -10 -4.332 21.521 -10
4 4 .253 16.926 -10 .509 16.734 -10 .19 16.661 -10 -.474 16.926 -10
3 4 .19 16.661 -10 -.126 16.76 -10 -.474 16.926 -10
3 4 -4.206 14.149 -10 -3.6 21.19 -10 -3.6 14.35 -10

* You could model these with disc/ndis and line them up properly. My suggestion would be to do the job in LDPC horizontally using a rotated image as background and rotate it once all prims and triangles/quads are in place at the very end:

2 4 1.35 14.11 -10 1.95 15.49 -10
2 4 .53 14.45 -10 1.13 15.86 -10

* Much better. However the collinear vertices are still present:

3 9 1.75 22.65 -10 1.75 25 -10 1.75 27.2 -10
3 9 1.75 18.6 -10 1.75 20.6 -10 1.75 22.65 -10

Please check with LDPE

* There are rounding errors on all four disc/ndis:

1 0 6.51 16.05 -10 0 0 -0.499 0.499 0 0 0 1 0 1-4disc.dat
1 16 6.51 16.05 -10 -0.5 0 0 0 0 0.5 0 1 0 1-4ndis.dat

* There are T-Junctions (I usually call them T-Junk):

2 4 .311 14.415 -10 .485 14.789 -10
2 4 .631 15.105 -10 .805 15.479 -10
2 4 .951 15.795 -10 1.125 16.169 -10
2 4 2.199 15.675 -10 2.025 15.301 -10
2 4 1.899 14.995 -10 1.725 14.621 -10
2 4 1.589 14.305 -10 1.415 13.931 -10

As you have to work on that area anyway I would appreciate if the triangulation could be done with a regular pattern like this:

4 14 1.17 3.636 -10 -1.296 4 -10 -1.012 4.165 -10 0.759 4.231 -10

* Fixed the collinear vertices added on the last update.
* No Erros on LDPE
* Pattern creator is pointing some triangle overlaps, but I'm am pretty sure it's an bug.
* Checked all primitives and fixed rounding erros.
* Fixed the T-junctionsadded on last update.
* New zipper pattern. Cleaner and with bettern triangulation.
* Centered the pattern on the piece.

* Presumably these should be white (holding for this):

1 0 -11.9 12.1 -10 -0.1 0 -0.36 -0.36 0 0.1 0 1 0 1-4ndis.dat
1 0 -8.4 11.35 -10 0.36 0 -0.1 -0.1 0 -0.36 0 1 0 1-4ndis.dat

* Where do these vertices come from:

2 4 -7.375 .45 -10 -5.575 .45 -10
2 4 -5.575 .45 -10 5.65 .45 -10
2 4 5.65 .45 -10 7.9 .45 -10

* There are still rounding errors of the vertices around the zipper. One example:

.892 16.361 -10

Unificator in LDPE is your friend.

* All 2-4ndis still have T-Junk. Has to be solved as following:

3 5 1.75 14.25 -10 1.208 14.188 -10 1.285 14.373 -10
3 5 1.75 14.25 -10 1.285 14.373 -10 1.362 14.558 -10
