It needs a complementary cond-line where the cyli ends and the pattern begins.

Are you sure the condline is not inclided in the cylinder?

LDPE shows a condline : (see here https://ibb.co/qRhhkBj )

Can someone confirm that the condline between the primitive and the patterned shape is not included into the cylinder primitive but, indeed, needs to be added?

See picture above.

The condline included in the Cyli prim is this one:

5 24 40 -10.50136 -8.29 -40 -10.50136 -8.29 40 -12.872944 -1.653166 40 -7.806192 -14.745778

On control point (40 -7.806192 -14.745778) 'floats' above the next face.
So it should be at 40 -7.528 -14.446

Therefore the part itself needs a cond-line like:
5 24 40 -10.50136 -8.29 -40 -10.50136 -8.29 40 -12.872944 -1.653166 40 -7.528 -14.446

See the picture:
YELLOW: Wrong Point (included in Prim)
Silver arrow: correct point
