the top 2 clips need a correction of their geometry.
they are too wide, so they intersect with 851.dat when the ladder is extended (see 850c02.dat)

I don't have enough info to correctly solve this issue.
What part is wrong? The rounded box or the L-shaped stopper?

the L shaped stopper is wrong.
it is too thick, so it intersects with the oval counterpart
on the moving ladder part which locks into it.
can be seen in the c02 assembly when you zoom in into
the 2 interlocking portions.

I'm not sure the geometry is correct yet. I've built set 693 which uses this ladder, and there's an intersection between the ladder and the studs of the 1x2 brick it sits on - see http://www.nightshade.org.uk/693.png

Would someone have access to the original part?
... to check this conflict and to resolve it if necessary ...

Since posting my comment above, I have acquired the part and I can confirm there are errors.

Does this mean that you're fixing it too?

I think the position of the rungs in all of these three ladders are wrong.
Do we have to obsolete them and redesign under new numbers?
