The position of the word Child varies in the description.
(But the same could be said about the Adult figure.)
The "Child Hips" are called "Adult" hips.

Collision between the top of the leg and the bottom of the hip.
I think the rotation point in the legs might be off.
When the legs are moved to a seated position they're not positioned as expected.

The conical snap axle inside the cap is too long, protruding into the arms, but also
longer than the hole in the neck of the torso.

Are the arms really meant to be blocking eachother from rotating?
Are they intensionally simplified?

I don't have any Duplo Figure and I find this to be very strange...

I'll have a closer look later, but for the arms, yes they are partially locked together. Not dismantled to check the exact mechanism but the model works properly.
