Should this file not be 47236a.dat or something like that? AFAIK this part is not a composite of several parts.

Yes, you might be right. Not separatable AFAIK. But I think that it is produced in two steps.

"... with Black Rubber".
Shouldn't it be ".. with Black Rubber Insert"?

I think these double injection parts should be renamed 47236pxx

I'm OK with the number, but would anybody so kind and add some missing condlines to the tweaked out subpart s02? They are missing in the front surface top and bottom.

I'm not very familiar with the term "double injection part" but I got the idea that this part could be one. Should the part structure change accordingly?

Should be renumbered to 47326p01.
Marbled, multicoloured or double injected parts usually have p suffix.

So this (47326) is a rather unusual "multi-combination" part -- because it is technically an assembly -- but I believe it's made in-mould so it is counted by TLG as multi-combination. The plastic portions of this part should be combined into a single part 47325 (this comes officially in colors 199 DARK STONE GREY, 140 EARTH BLUE, 26 BLACK and 141 EARTH GREEN). It has official name LINK F. BALL, HIGH FR. 1.SHOT [I believe the "1.SHOT" is the in-mould indicator]

I cannot find a design ID for the rubber portion(s) separately.

47326 is 47325 + the rubber insert portion.

I want to fix these.

I suggest renumbering 47325s01-s03 to 47325s01-s03, and maybe rearrange the content so that s01 is a "complete" hard plastic subpart.
I want to keep 47326s04 as this makes the creation and handling of a dual injection part similar to other multicoloured parts.
The content of s04 might have to be duplicated inside that file. Or is it OK to reuse "half" subfiles in a multcoloured part?
I think each differently coloured section of a multi colored part should have its own subpart.

47326a should be renumbered to 47326p01 and use 47325s01 + 47326s04.
Does this make any sense?

Seems sound. I have no problem with using half subparts, as the subparts are not supposed to be inlined at user level.

I'm beginning to think that we are never going to have a "third" number on the second part of a dual injection mould.
I see some kind of logic in that.

The first injection is done into the first mould = first partnumber. The second injection is done into a second mould,
where the first moulded half is already placed.
Thus there will never be a third partnumber included in a dual injection part.

I also think there is a difference between a two coloured, blended part created with dual injection at the same time,
and a two coloured part created in a two step injection of different colours, at different occations.
