Should I do something against the t-junctions and overlappings, cause this part is available in several trans colours?

Well, I started with this part and took a two real parts to check for any faults on the model. While doing this, I found out, that that there are two versions of this part exist.
The old one, where the centre 'hub' diameter is 6.5 mm and a newer one which a centre 'hub' diameter of 7.5 mm. (The reinforcement is clearly visible at the newer parts. And I can remember that I broke some of them in my childhood...)
The change must be in the mid of the 90's...
I will model both as a and b version...

Well, the outside is different too.
The old one is flat with a cone left and right.
The new one is more like a half tube.

As I'm working on it anyway, I will create both versions.

While thinking about this, I will check the rubber parts, sometimes used as tire, if there was a change in design as well...
