Why would they print a yellow clock face on a yellow brick?

Yes for sure, but does it really matter, if you have a brick with a yellow clock and the brick got yellow or you have a neutral clock and choose yellow for both. The result is the same. As the brick exists only in two versions - a red brick with a yellow clock and a yellow brick with a yellow clock - the clock will always be yelow.
