Usage as hilt implies a 180 degrees upside down orientation, like other swords (blade up). Then origin at base of stud becomes "natural"

You may want to consider replacing the quads between the two dragon halves with rect2p primitives.
Or move the edge lines to the subfile.

as I did not do much to the raw file (except for the grip), many of the quads are not rectangular, but you are right, they are just a few decimals apart, that won't be visible, so I can normalize it in that way to make it fit the rect2p
