Lots of non-colinear & non-coplanar vertices. Check with L3P.

The non coplaner vertices are well within limits (<0.1)

Updated to make BFC certified.

Checked with 'l3p -check -dist0.1' with no errors.

If you see any errors, please include the l3p parameters that you used so I can find them.

Holding for non-coplanar quads (using l3p -check -det0.1 -dist0.1, see http://www.ldraw.org/library/tracker/ref/l3pmsg/)

downgrading to novote; I've been informed that using the -det option with l3p -check can cause problems with larger parts

Needs some header changes (can be done via Admin-update):

1. Title needs "SW" as part of Pattern description. (All "Star Wars" patterned files have the format "Blahblah with SW Blahblah Pattern".)

2. Needs Keywords: Star Wars, Artoo-Detoo, R2-D2, blue droid, astromech

The original was authored by a non-CA affirmed author, but has never been in an official update. Holding for complete CA re-write. No new parts will be added to the NonCA library.

I'm reworking these.
Anybody know the real partnumber?
These printed parts have the design numbers 22564 and 22565. How do I number the new part?

Blank part is be 32272 (3D - PANEEL, CORNER). For the patterned parts, please keep x51ps(1..2) as comment, these parts have been unofficial under this name for sooooo long!

Thank you. I'll ask for a renumber.

Would it be OK to also change the orientation? We are going to release this under a new number anyway.
I want to see more of the pattern in default position.

Works for me since we'll loose "compatibility" anyway

There can always be an unofficial "moved-to" file that can be put in the middle.

I'm starting to think that we should have a meta-command to declare which part this is a pattern of since it cannot be deduced from the filename after it's moved.

At Tue Jul 3 19:42:40 2018 part 'parts/x51ps2.dat' was renamed to 'parts/32272ps2.dat'.

Reworked subfiles, removing gaps and bleeding surfaces.
Made a unprinted part.
Reworked shape of the top section. From a 1-4 to a hi-res resolution.
Adapted pattern to new shape.
The beams are now correct in thickness. 18 ldu, not 20.
New orientation to better show the full pattern.
Added old partnumber as keyword.

Why is it called 6x6x5.33 and not 6x6x7?

There are many teeny extraneous condlines in the small eyes white spots, probably introduced by Datheader.
Not very important, but the resolution of these tiny spot is too high imho.
And yes, size is clearly 6x6x7. Though there is always the question in Y direction, should height be counted as multiple of 20ldu module, or as multiple of 24ldu brick height? Since it is not a brick by any means I think 6x6x7 is OK.

Reworked condlines. Don't think I can get them any better now.
Changed description to 6x6x7
Changed "without Eye" to "with Displays"
Removed half of the vertices in the circles.

Has the same conditional edge I mentioned in 32272ps1. Does not have the hairline gaps.
