I find it odd that the tyre have a different diameter than the rim,
but the same error/difference is also present in the wider combo.

I don't understand. What photos? There's no dimensions moulded of the sides of these tyres.

IMO, the tyres should be changed, so that their descriptions, match the numbers in the rim description.
Rim 14 x 60 + Tyre 14/ 20 x 60
Rim 28 x 60 + Tyre 28/ 10 x 60

The "width" and the "rim diameter" should (almost) always be the same numbers, in a "Rim + Tyre" combination.
(Some balloon tyre are wider than the rims)

Sorry, I thought you meant the gap between rim and tyre. Yeah, maybe we should change description so that rim and tyre numbers match.
