I wasn'T sure how to name it, so I called it where it is used, Constraction...

The part is actually three pieces permanently glued together respectively molded together.

The tip and the bush are transparent hard plastic, looks like PC
The middle, bendy, part is transparent rubbery material.

I kept it as one as the part is only available colored completely (I own only the red one) Splitting it into three, imho does not pay off.

I think it should be divided into two subparts, one for each material.
Or do they both have the same shininess?
I guess the rubber might be more flat, non reflective. A builder might want to render them differently.
At Brickset there is also 35583. 21987 is described as an assembly (Ass.) 35583 is not.

Dual injection, two coloured parts don't have an edgeline between the two materials.
I think they should be removed in this part.

btw.
Are we missing some colour codes?
Rubber trans bright green
Rubber trans light blue
Rubber trans red

I think that the 2 portions of the injection mold should be put into separate subfiles
so that our users become enabled to use them in different colors if desired.

I agree that there should be no edgelines between the injection mold portions
(similar to patterns which also are not surrounded by edges).

Split into two subfile for rubber and solid plastic. Added a solid/rubber separation disc at the bush and the tip as Philo did in the wing
