It should be name "Minifig Headdress Pumpkin Carved with Green Stem Pattern" because it is a patterned part.

Duplicating edge primitive, adding edges already present in another file.
The word Pattern is missing.

This isn't really a patterned part. It's an assembly. The green is not inked on, it's a separate piece of plastic. It really shouldn't be a "p" part at all.

Subfiles are now fixed, but the word Pattern is still missing. Hold

"Pattern" and the ..p01 suffix is not exclusivly used on printed parts.
It's also used on parts made from two (or more) colours or material.
e.g.
Hard plastic parts with a rubber tip.
Dual injection parts, like the newer two-colored minifig legs and arms.

as I do not have this part, I do not know if the stem
is a separate ~part or a subpart

does anybody else?

"as I do not have this part, I do not know if the stem is a separate ~part or a subpart "

That is exactly what I meant when I said it's an assembly, not a decoration.

The stem is a physically separate piece of plastic from the rest. It can't be easily removed, but this isn't the first element that was made of subparts that were permanently affixed.

So, yes, the stem is technically what would be called a subpart in LCAD parlance, I would say.

I don't understand why this part should be different than other two coloured, dual injected parts.

It's not co-injected, it's an assembly, it's right in the official name

20695 MINI HAT NO. 7-ASS.

(the ASS. is short for assembly)

If you look at the bottom of the green stem piece, you can see an extra tab of plastic that would have no reason to appear in a co-injected part.
