Is it correct to have the dotted studgroups orientation independent?

yes, they have no logo,
just a circular white dot
which is rotationally indifferent

Two occurrences of p/stugp01-1x6.dat should be p/stugp01-6x1.dat. Orientation is important w.r.t. stud logos.

Translated from JC Tchangs primitive page:
Generally used on baseplates with studs marked with a white point. The radius of the point is 4 LDU.
Note: These studs have the logo in addition to the white dot.

But it used to read:
"These studs do not have a logo." This text has been crossed out.
