I agree that there are significant benefits of texmap for complicated, gradient patterns.
But, as this sticker pattern is simple and only two-colored, I think this part could be vectorized easily.
Could you vectorize the pattern using txt2dat, font prim, or subpart 004452bs01/s02?
I think using texmap for such a simple pattern is not appropriate.
