The same way as we can "downgrade" studs to "fast-draw" variants,
I think we should be able to "upgrade" studs to be "logoed".

Locally I've replaced my stud2.dat by this file,
but maybe in future tools like LDView could officially support
substituting studs by this "logoed" variant.

When a user turns on/off this substitution, this could
also trigger the corresponding LEGO logo switches in LDView's
POVRay export etc.

Comments:
The previous implementation of this file referenced stud2.dat and added the logo. This can lead to this substitution recursion:

1) software substitutes stud2.dat by logoed stud2-logo.dat
2) stud2-logo.dat references stud2.dat
3) software substitutes stud2.dat by logoed stud2-logo.dat
4) stud2-logo.dat references stud2.dat
5) software substitutes stud2.dat by logoed stud2-logo.dat
6) stud2-logo.dat references stud2.dat
...

this can simply be avoided by repeating the few lines here
which make up stud2.dat
that's not as beautiful as referencing stud2.dat from here,
but as it's just a handful of lines I find that tolerable

I would like to suggest to include these logo primitives
http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptscan.cgi?q=logo
in the next parts release, please.

may I humbly ask for cert votes here
so that we can finally get these logo stud variants
out with the next release?
otherwise they will sit another year here again...
