I dont have a reason for hold-voting this.
I just want to make it clear that I made this design, not knowing about JC Tchang's 3D-studs.
It is made in LPC, on a screen-dump of the textured logo from LDView.

Three issues;
1.)
we are missing one of your files, Steffen. I can't find p\stud-logo4.dat

2.)
IMO we should try to allign the three differnt versions of the logo design.
Paul Easter's design differ from JC Tchang's design, and they both differ from my version.
I'm not saying that my version is correct. Only that they all differ from each other.
Which is most correct?

3.)
Why are JC Tchang's studs lower than a standard stud?
I remember reading something about "illegal" designs, based on the fact that the logo is protruding above the stud surface.
Do we need to have that in mind?

Please review this file.
I want to use it in the old MC-body, 4480c01.dat.
Or should I abandon it and use an other 3D logo?

Basically I'm Ok with using this file. But when I run it through edger, 31 new condlines are found. Some of them are really missing, some others seems to occur due to small rounding errors between the some quads - maybe it should run through unificator as well.

Again, I have proved my point of view; never throw away anything. You'll never know if you need it again.

I found my old original design, and from that file I could recreate this as a primitive.
Any primitive should have four decimals. The old subfile didn't. It does now.

Thanks for the hint, Max.

I would *love* to see these released as official -
is there anything that hinders us?
