Arrow keys Home End | Move current piece. |

A | Turn current piece a quarter turn clockwise. |
C | Gets prompt to change piece color. Enter the color number. |
E | Erase and redraw screen. |
I | Insert a new piece. |
M | Change increment for moving piece with arrow, Home, or End keys. Hitting M once changes from Normal (half stud sideways / 1 plate thickness up) to Coarse (5 studs sideways / 10 plate thicknesses up). Hitting M again changes to Fine (twentieth of a stud sideways / eighth of a plate up). Hiiting M again changes back to Normal. |
O | Gets prompt to change offset, the position of the viewing screen over the model. You must choose an axis (X, Y, or Z). |
OX | Gets prompt to change offset in the X direction. Enter the number of LDraw units (Stud widths times 20) you want to move the view. |
OY | Gets prompt to change offset in the Y direction. Enter the number of LDraw units (Plate heights times 8) you want to move the view. |
OZ | Gets prompt to change offset in the Z direction. Enter the number of LDraw units (Stud widths times 20) you want to move the view. |
P | Gets prompt to change the piece. Enter the part number or hit Enter to get a parts list. |
W | Swap the current piece with the next piece. |
X | Gets prompt to move the current piece in the X direction. Enter the number of LDraw units (Stud widths times 20) you want to move the piece. |
Y | Gets prompt to move the current piece in the Y direction. Enter the number of LDraw units (Plate heights times 8) you want to move the piece. |
Z | Gets prompt to move the current piece in the Z direction. Enter the number of LDraw units (Stud widths times 20) you want to move the piece. |

/ Esc | Jump to menus at the top of the screen. |
/F | Jump to File menu. |
/FL | Get prompt to load a file. Enter the filename. |
/FS | Get prompt to save the current model. Enter the filename you want to save as. |
/FE | Exit LEdit. |
/E | Jump to Edit menu. |
/EI | Insert a new piece. |
/ED | Delete the current piece. |
/ES | Swap the current piece with the next piece. |
/EL | Get Prompt to change Line-Type. |
/ELP | Change Line-Type to a piece. |
/ELC | Change Line-Type to a comment. Enter the comment. |
/ELS | Change Line-Type to a step. |
/V | Jump to View menu. |
/VF | Change to front view. |
/VR | Change to right side view. |
/VL | Change to left side view. |
/VB | Change to back view. |
/VO | Change to over (top) view. |
/VU | Change to under (bottom) view. |
/VT | Change to three dimensional (default) view. |
/VI | Zoom in. |
/VC | Center the view above the current cursor position. (Easier than using Offset). |
/T | Jump to Turn menu. |
/TX | Get prompt to turn the current piece around the X axis. Enter the number of degrees to turn the piece. |
/TY | Get prompt to turn the current piece around the Y axis. Enter the number of degrees to turn the piece. |
/TZ | Get prompt to turn the current piece around the Z axis. Enter the number of degrees to turn the piece. |
/TC | Set the axes (X, Y, and Z) to go through the current cursor position. |
/P | Jump to Piece menu. |
/PF | Gets prompt to change the piece. Enter the part number or hit Enter to get a parts list. |
/PC | Gets prompt to change piece color. Enter the color number. |
/PG | Gets prompt to go to a different piece in the model. Enter the line number of the piece, or enter a large number to get to the end of the model. |
/O | Jump to Options menu. |
/OL | Set LEdit to use lines instead of studs or studs instead of lines, switching the current setting. |
/OS | Set LEdit to start drawing at the current piece the next time the screen is erased. |
/Q | Exit LEdit. |
