James Jessiman Memorial Award to be presented at BrickFest 2001

The Jessiman family and LDraw.org will be presenting the first James Jessiman Memorial Award at Brickfest 2001 this year. This is intended to be the first annual presentation of the award which is to honor an individual who has contributed to the furthering of LDraw, the DAT format, and James' memory.

James' parents, Don and Robyn Jessiman, approached us with the idea for this award. The specifics of the award were carefully discussed among the Brickfest LDraw committee and a recipient was carefully chosen among those who have worked hard to keep LDraw alive.

The James Jessiman Memorial Award will be presented at the end of the LDraw demonstrations at Brickfest 2001, Saturday July 14. Look here for more announcements regarding LDraw and Brickfest.
