People: Meet Jacob Sparre Andersen!
Jacob is the server administrator here at LDraw.org. He's been an active part of the LEGO community for many years and remembers when James was alive and was developing LDraw.

Events: BricksWest 2002
BricksWest 2002 marked a key turning point for the adult LEGO fan community as well as the LDraw community. This was the first annual large scale LEGO event for adult fans in the western United States. Over one hundred adult fans, or AFOLs as they are known, converged on Carlsbad, Californa, the home of LEGOLAND California for this event which had something for everyone, from the serious fan to kids.

James Jessiman Memorial
Learn about LDraw's creator, James Jessiman, who died in 1997. Also check out the original James Jessiman Memorial Site, archived completely in its former state, which served as the central LDraw site from July 1997 through July 1999 when LDraw.org was launched.
