The range assignments, shown as subheadings, are designed to group together related patterns for parts with many patterned versions. The rigour with which these have been applied has increased as more patterned parts have been authored. Code asignment in the early days of LDraw was more haphazard. For backward compatibility, older patterned parts with codes that do not match the current usage have not been re-numbered.

e0 - ez
f0 - fz : Fabuland and Scala
t0 - tz : General textual patterns
u0 - uz : Extended textual patterns
v0 - vz : Extended textual patterns
w0 - wz : Western or extended textual patterns
x0 - xz : Miscellaneous (SpongeBob SquarePants, ...)
