Alright, I fixed the cylis to match the spherical parts and added the missing cond-lines along the cylis.

Should the upper (inner?) lines be cond-lines instead? It feels like they should be, but getting the control points for some of them may be tricky.

Maybe you could use a cylinder primitive instead of quads for most of the cylindrical part (except where the two cylinders join together).

I feel so too.
Edger2 will do the calculation job for you if you use the "inline subparts" and properly give your LDraw folder path... but here you may simply delete the edge line since the sphe primitives contains an edge condline that matches a cylinder.
