The hexalobular is made by Annex A of DIN EN ISO 10664 and DIN EN ISO 14583.

Isn't this more commonly known as a TORX head, ot is that something different?

Yes, you are right. But Torx is a the trademark of Camcar Textron for this type of screw. So I decided to use the ISO name for it and put torx only to the keywords. For further information look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx, please.

I'm measuring this one to be 1.75mm, top-top. (r=2.1875 ldu)
If it is a T6-screw, it should be 1.7mm according to the standard.

I wonder also, is it possible to make this a subfile or a primitive, and resize/reuse it in other screws?

I did a second look into the ISO 10664:2005. It told me, that for T6 the outer diameter of the hexalobular hole is 1.75 mm. The inner one is 1.27 mm.
I don't know what you mean with top-top. Sorry.

The idea with the primitive is great. Is there a preferred diameter value for the hexalobular? Like outer diameter 10 LDU or something (For easier reuse by scaling it)?

OK, let's not get lost in details.
You are correct. 1.75 it is.
The wiki-page shows dimensions for external torx, and the iso-standard internal torx.

I'd create the primitive only when needed (screw with different length/diameter ratio)
