Agreed. There is presently a shortcut without the geard axle (a good thing since this is the fixed assembly), maybe there should be one too including it?

I disagree. This part should not have a ~.

Any part that a builder would want to position in his model, should be "foundable".
Philo has allways made the power function engines like that.
One file containing the complete casing, and the movable axle visible, without the ~.

Hide all the "subparts" in the static assembly with a ~.
Leave the moving "subparts" easy to find, without a ~.

But you must also provide a complete, static assembly, to be used in build intructions or partlists.
At the moment we are missing one file: 2426c02.dat "Rack Winder 2 x 4 x 2 with Axle".
