I don't think the current part number 700m24b.dat is okay.
700.dat is "Brick 10x20", and has nothing to do with this one.
This also introduces a strange sequence of:
- 3 digits
- letter "m"
- 2 digits
- letter "b".
I'd like to have this part moved to some x....dat filename
instead of using the current one.

I meant "700m28b.dat" above, of course

The use of stud.dat is doubtable, since my part has no logo on studs. For me it's alright to rename it to x717 as I already have reserved that part number for this part.

My suggested description: Brick 2 x 14 with Window Cutout

Agreed, the stud could be replaced with a cylc properly scaled.

I agree with Philo. But since I don't know the reasoning behind the naming conventions for Mursten parts (had no idea there are currently 52 of them in the PT!), and don't know if the stud issue is enough for a hold vote, I change to novote.

I just came across these pages. I would like to say the naming is not that bad, but did not fit in our current system!

(keeping hold)
As offline discussed via e-mail, I favor the creation
of a dedicated Mursten Stud (without logo) over using 4-4cyli here.
Reason: imagine some future software which concludes
part connectivity from stud primitives usage.
