Are you sure about thickness? This image http://www.bricklink.com/myImg/88902.jpg makes me think of something significantly thinner. But I may be wrong!

I too would like to see some dimensions here.

Why is there an edge line across the pattern? Fold marking?

I think so. If I look at pictures showing that piece there is always a line in the middle. For the dimensions I have no idea at present where we can get that.
