downgrading to novote.

can we get rid of the "4.5V" in the title?
I would like to use this file from the 12V motor as well.

If this should become a part, then it should be "closed" that there is no red area visible or it should marked with "needs work" for the moment.
If this can also be used in the 12V version, the qualifier 4.5V should get away or extended to "4.5V and 12V"

I could make a fake inside to close the part, but I have no idea of how it looks. Pictures?

Would it be OK to adjust both files to this line?
1 14 0 26 40 22.627417 0 22.627417 -23.334524 0 23.334524 0 1 0 48/1-4edge.dat

2 14 22.627417 2.665476 40 -22.627417 2.665476 40
2 14 22.627417 49.334524 40 -22.627417 49.334524 40
If so, I could use more primitives.

Would it be OK to make the inside of the casing with lo-res primitives?

Concerning to the fake inside: Yes, this was my thought, but I do not own this part. So I can't help you here :-(

Concerning to use the edge prims: Is there a reaseon for moving the top and the bottom, here? If the edges would be scaled, we could deal with the "original" dimensions of this file.
But it would be the best to get an old non-working part for doing the work with it.
And I would prefer high-res here.

I don't think faking an inside is necessary.
It can be added later if somebody knows it and wants to add it IMHO.

Yes of course, so a needs work would be fine here.
