My first draft of the "Brick 2 x 2 x 3.333 Octagonal With Side Studs" was made with a less number of subparts. But I do not know when a subpart is usefull. This file contains 94 funktional lines, 7 header lines (without empty lines) and 7 comments that could be removed. This file is used twice so that I see a benefit of 94 - 7 - 2 = 85 lines. But you are right, this file is a subpart of a subpart of a subpart of a part. And it is only usefull for this part.
I can inline this subpart into the next level. But before, I would like to learn something. So could you give me some comments or links on this? Thanks.

Unfortunately there is no defined rule. I tend to subpart when a subpart used twice is above 20 kbytes. But that's just a rule of thumb forged from reviewers comments, and I'll happily certify if you decide to let things as-is.
