why is this subpart oriented this way,
requiring to rotate it in both instances in the parent part?
why not rotate it 90 degrees?

I know.
but the parent part could use the identity matrix for one of the halves
when this would be rotated 90 degrees, saving some multiplications.

Orientation is up to the author to decide.
There seems to be many unmatched edges in this file.
Perhaps Unificator could help?

I still don't understand why you don't simply rotate this 90 degrees,
especially because s03 _is_ rotated :|
I know this not an issue, of course. Just wondering.

How about this hairline gap?

2 14 35.359 -23.971 -12.403 57.028 -63.998 -10.88
2 14 57.028 -63.998 -10.88 74.656 -95.147 -9.564

I think it should be closed.

Why do more work when it's not needed ???
