I have deleted the outer 4-4ring15, that the subpart could be used in the round and dimpled version.

You need to increase the diameter of the two main circles here.
Like this:
1 14 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 stug-4x4.dat
1 16 0 -4 0 20.15 0 0 0 4 0 0 0 20.15 4-4cyli.dat
1 16 0 -4 0 37.7 0 0 0 4 0 0 0 37.7 48\4-4cyli.dat
The four stud in the middle must fit inside the little circle, and 8 should fit inside the big.

I'm sorry, but the inner diameter is still wrong.

Before I start to change this issue, just a little question:
I did a calculation in AutoCad now. The inner radius should be 25.6228 LDU and the outer one 37.6228 LDU. So should I change back the outside or is the difference of 0.0772 ok? (For me it is OK, cause its almost nothing in reality)

I think you misunderstod me. I'm talking about the 4 studs in the middle.
Please look at this example:
1 14 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 stug-2x2.dat
1 4 0 -4 0 20.15 0 0 0 4 0 0 0 20.15 4-4cyli.dat

Ohh, I read stug-4x4.dat in our post.
I checked this issue and yes, AutoCad gives me 20.1421 as radius. So I will change the faces to 20.15 LDU. I'll do this in the evening.

I have changed the radius to 20.2, because 20.15 wasn't good for the ring adjustment.

I think this comes from the prim-name change 8.3 to XX.3 .
Maybe we should create for all 'old' files with shortened name new prims with long name and change the old one to 'moved to' ?

4-4ring77.dat only exists as high resolution.
The reference to that file in this file is only p. Therefore the errors.

But 4-4rin77 exists... And I'm sure, that I used that one. Because I made this part before we changed to long names...

I think I know what's happend.
official prim p\4-4rin77.dat was not renumbered
unofficial prim p\48\4-4rin77.dat was renumbered to p\48\4-4ring77.dat
unofficial prim p\4-4ri101.dat was renumbered to p\4-4ring101.dat

For some strange reason this file has been changed 'automagically'. But not correctly.
4-4rin77.dat is changed to 4-4ring77.dat. An incorrect update.
4-4ri101.dat is not changed to 4-4ring101.dat. An incorrect update.
