a lot of bad vertex sequences and not coplanar vertices
some identical lines and triangles with more than 11 arguments
to much digits, please reduce the vertices to three or less digits
no optional lines
no BFC Statement

please run with L3p -check

This part is too complex for my skills. Hopefully someone can finish this part.

IT'S BEEN RE-FORGED!!!
Sorry, but this bad-boy took me a while.

I started working on this part last year. After looking at just how bad a shape the original file was in, I decided to re-create this from scratch. But then, after my first try, I was dissatisified with how the corner area came out (particularly where it transitions from the smaller radius to the larger radius). At this point, I'd grown a bit burnt out from this part, so I took a break (much longer than I really wanted to). Recently, I decided to give it another go, and I'm much happier with the way that area turned out this time.

I've put a LOT of time into this part, and I think it shows. I'm quite proud of all I've accomplished with this part.

This can be fixed easily.

There is something wrong near this quad (line #171):
4 4 0 -64 40 2.792 -63.909 40 8.093 -61.47 40 0 -62 40

There is an overlapping with line #170, therefore the tread is a bit misplaced there...

Furthermore there are many are about 20 condlines, where the control points are bad... (Just run this file through edger2 with the -c option and you see, what I mean.)

Btw: I'm impressed of you work... Is it possible to adapt it somehow to the 'giant' version?

If you want to, I can correct these issues...

Mike: Fixed your two lines. Wasn't as "easy" as you might have thought: this wasn't a duplicated line, but a line with incorrect control points (in each case, one of the regular points was duplicated as a control point), so I had to go in and determine the correct points. Still, you're right, it was an error that needed fixing, and it's fixed now.

MMR: Indeed, there was an error in that area, and it went beyond the two lines you pointed out. For the vertex in that corner, I had been using two different (but very very close) points interchangably. Not sure how that happened, but I fixed it so that only one point is used consistently for all surfaces and lines in that area.

Additionally, I ran edger2, which found some condlines I was missing, which I added, and some condlines that were apparently bad, which I replaced with the condlines it gave me.

As I can see gaps in the whole wheel I am not sure that this file is correct and the error only occur in the complete assembly. But I fear it is this subpart.
