The quads from line #33 to #35 produce t-junctions with the gear surfaces.
There are small gaps where you have used two 1-24ring4 prims (lines #95 and 96) Why not create a new 1-12ring4 and increase the precision of the following quad (if necessary).

Hallo,

@MMR1988

about the T-junctions:
I know about the T-junctions, but in this case I have no idea how to solve the problem. In fact I tried it: I moved one corner of the quad (in s02 in line 25) to the base of the cylinder and changed the corners of the quads in s01 in lines 33..35 accordingly. It works, but if you have a look at it with LDView it doesn't look very nice, more like a rounded polygon. Any ideas how to solve this matter are appreciated.
Please have a look, here are the replacements, please give it a try by yourself:
11140s01, lines 33-39 new version:
4 16 0 -7 -1.875 -2.3941 -6.5778 -1.875 -2.3941 -6.5778 -12.75 -0.3635 -6.9359 -12.75

11140s02, line 25 new, line 26 removed
4 16 0 -7 -1.875 -0.3635 -6.9359 -12.75 -0.3635 -6.9359 -23 0 -7 -23

about the problem in line 95 and 96:
I would like to have the primitive but there isn't any, so since it is only one more line of code I don't care. But I can't see any gaps, and which quad did you mean (line?)

Well, I'm not sure what happens when you will split for example the quad
4 6 0 -7 -1.875 -2.3941 -6.5778 -1.875 -2.3941 -6.5778 -12.75 0 -7 -12.75 (line #33)
to
4 1 0 -7 -1.875 -2.3941 -6.5778 -1.875 -2.3941 -6.5778 -12.75 -0.3635 -6.9359 -12.75
and
3 1 0 -7 -1.875 -0.3635 -6.9359 -12.75 0 -7 -12.75

For the gaps:
Here is an picture: http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b334/MMR88/LDraw/11140s01_zpsa5ffc797.png
Maybe you could simply increase the decimals for this areas. (The cyli prims for this area have some gaps, too)

MMR1988 complained about the much shorter titles:
http://www.ldraw.org//cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/s/11140s03.dat. I don't like it too because I did the detailed despcription in a line just after the header. Bute it was a (undisputed) demand :)

no problem, I'll have to have a look for the T-junctions so I can change the description as well and still make it a bit different :)
