You can check LDD for this part. Both versions are there. I think, this is a good base for this part.
(Now I have to give a hold after seeing, that it is really not an alias part)

I should play with the LDD, while sitting in a train and getting more and more tired instead of getting awake... You're are right, I have seen only things that I wanted to see there.

Yeah, they're very different! The older parts have a 'ring' connecting the studs in the front end and hollow studs in the 2x3 section. The new ones have struts connecting the studs (similar to those in http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3747b) and solid studs in the 2x3.
