I want to give these better names.

Is this even an arm? Or a "Bar bent with two clips (horizontal/vertical)"?
Were should the origin be?
Orientation?
I want to set an angle in the desription? Which one?
The obtuse, between the two arms?
Or the acute, away from a straight line through the first arm?

How did you measure the angle? This one is a special value, but does the angle for the other arm (56.31) has a meaning?

Maybe you could have used a slanted cyls instead of quads for the joint? (granted, not easy to compute values ;)
Why did you use 2 4-4 cylinders on the long section?

That's the one that made me wonder.
56.31 is the angle between x-axis and the first arm. Not good to use here, I know.

I'll try to tweak a 1-4cyls.

I had a cyli in the sub-file at first atemp. But yes, you are right, it's now no longer needed.

Ah - I just realize that 56.31=atan(3/2)...

Moved origin and used 1-4cyls2.
It wasn't too hard. Trial and error until I hit the target...

I think modelling the outgrowth at the elbow would take only resources. So I feel I can cert here.

I think the angle of the upper arm should be consistent with 93609 and maybe even vertical.

In LDD they do not have the same angle!

I had both parts in my hand while making these two.
I also made several tests, both in LDD and IRL, to get the angles correct.

I'm not disputing the angle between the two sections, merely the orientation.

OK, I agree with Chris here, that the starting bar should have the same angle as the other part. So you can substitude one part easily with the other part.

No, I think this orientation is good, because it gives simple coordinates to clips centers, and hand has simple vertical orientation. Might possibly be rotated 90 degrees around X-axis, but I think this is better.
