Why isn't it streched to maximum length?

So that the ends lie on grid I guess?

I think this should probably be 92338.dat, as the default form, unless we make a fully extended version as 92338.

I find it useful that the 2 chain ends are aligned to the stud grid.
I think that the title of this assembly should mention that.
This chain currently extends 1x6 studs.

I'm voting hold anyway because the chain elements are not distributed evenly. The chain is not stretched to its maximum. That remaining "air" should IMHO be spread evenly between the chain elements. Currently, only the 2 chain elements at the ends get "more air".

Evenly distributed links, corrected y links position, removed redirection. Not sure this shortcut is useful. If you find it is, please suggest an improved description differenciating it from 92338 ;)

"Minifig Chain 6L Exactly"?
It's useful to match LDD's CHAIN 6M which is also exactly 6L.

But in that case, we would also need a "16L Exactly" version of 60169 and a "17L But Actually 16L Exactly" version of 30104 ;P

I don't like that much "exactly"... but I understand the need!
"Minifig Chain 6L with 6L Span"?

"with 6L Span" sounds good :)

Note that, as a flexible part, LDD doesn't export nor import it. So it's only useful for other tools (the ones that don't use 208/9 to flex it).
