when uploading, could you please stick with the current
part naming quasi-standard, which is heading-like capitalization
like this
"Wheel Large Motorcycle with Holes in Rim"
instead of
"Wheel Large Motorcycle with holes in rim"

This scheme is described here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Title_case#Headings_and_publication_titles
as
"Capitalization of all words, except for articles, prepositions, conjunctions, and forms of to be"
or
"Capitalization of all words, except for closed-class words"
(not sure which one of both we're using here exactly).

That was a lot more work than I had expected. I think it was worth it though...

Yes, definitely worth!!! It looks excellent. Maybe you could add conditional lines in concave areas? They are used for smooth shading by LDview and POV export.

Do you intend to do the tire?

Very excellent indeed! I've got the part myself here and my only issue is that the axlehole should be of the axl3hol* variant, not axl2hol*.

.. and it's oriented the wrong way around. Forgot to mention.

The central axlehole is supposed to be on the Z-axis.

I'll make those changes next week and upload again. And yes, the matching tyre is next on my list.

Finally taken the time to fix this part:
Changed the orientation.
Changed axle hole to axl3hol.
Added conditional lines for concave joins.

There are a lot of bad cond-lines placed here in this file.
They seem to try to smooth the transition between the subfiles, but have really bad controlpoints.
One set is even completely out of place.

There are also still some tiny gaps around the tip of the spokes, in the rim.
Edger2 finds many unmatched edges, but I could understand if you don't want to mess around to much with the code, Philo.
I try to avoid that to.

Rebuilt condlines. These are in main file to avoid duplication caused by symmetry (though I personnally have nothing against _some_ duplication...)

I'm sorry, but I don't see any condlines at all in this file (except the outcommented old ones).
