Actually If you use my updated version of the bushloc2 primitive that matches the 16 segments than the gaps are fixed.

Just from the outside looking from teeth side I can see small gaps between the subpart and this part. Maybe this occure because of different numbers of decimals.

When examining the part under high magnification I noticed that the bushloc2 primitive adds lines where they need not be. Should the inside lines on the bushloc primitives be removed? What are the feeling of the admins concerning this?

Open for edits. As far as I can tell the error with the teeth is a problem with the primitive, not this part. The cylinder just above it is the correct 9LDU radius.

The primitive used only has 2 or 3 decimal places of accuracy rather than the usual 4 places used for most scaled primitives. But then the original primitive that this upgrades only had 2 decimals of accuracy.

Actually I think some of the type 2 lines should be removed.

yes, e.g. these
2 4 5.58 2 3 4.26 4.26 3
at that location, edges need correction

Inner cylinder bleeds in through the axlehole teeth at both ends.

I suggest the title "Technic Bush 1/2 Jagged with Reduced Axle Hole" to replace the "type 2" nomenclature and to contrast the "Smooth" of the modern version.

The ring at the teeth base likewise bleeds in through the teeth in the inner cylinder.

Why doesn't it use any bushlock primitive?
I think bushloc2.dat could/should be used here.

I don't understand this correction.
To me it looks like all you did was a removal of four edges an inlining the bushloc2 primitive?
I think we should correct the primitive instead.

I brought this up in the LDraw forums at:
https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-22461.html
My suggestion is to remove the inner edge lines from the bushloc primitives and possibly create new primitives containing those removed edge lines. What are the views of administrators on this proposal?
