Could be more improved by using box2-X.dat prims (with deforming it. for help see: http://jc-tchang.philohome.com/manuel/prim_def.htm)

Stud could be done in the same way like it is done in 3678b.dat

Yes, it would be better (especially the use of stud8a for connectivity)

Just as idea: my version for the inside and outside
I think the small boxes of the inside could be done in a similar way, but I'm too tired to try this now.

Large sections of the edge line around the understud could be replaced by some deformed primitives.

Use of more primitives (still not the suggested boxes - for patterned parts this won't work for the outside).

I changed the height of the stud8a.

Sorry, I didn't thought about pattern.
You did a great job, but do you want to pattern the inside, too? ;)

No, I don't want to pattern the inside. You are welcome to improve these parts. I am not that familiar with deforming primitives so far...

Ok, I will do my best.
I see, that either the front or the back is decorated.
And for doing the patterned part it is the best, if there is an "unpatterned" subpart, where these faces are missing.
I will create this and write your name as Author in this file, cause I did only some cosmetics. But please give me a couple hours.

I changed the origin between the top-studs to match the "basic" slopes.
