x559c01.dat, x559c02.dat can just be turned to have the crank handle on the other side as they are symetrical parts in z direction. This one not.

Comments:
removing hold for Mike's finding above
adding a new hold for
- missing "with Red Drum" in title
- type needs to be changed to "Shortcut"

thread http://forums.ldraw.org/read.php?19,214,323#msg-323
has finally solved the metal color problem.
383 = lacquered plastic
494 = real metal
so 383 is wrong here, replace by 494
additionally: history header needs formatting

It might be something I don't understand because I don't have the part, but Max is right.
The drum is colliding with the semicircular bumb inside the holder. Why?

My thought is, that the bulb with the crosspiece, where the bulb is mounted on, will be pressed down by the drum and this will cause in a simple friction lock function for the drum.

As I recall, that's correct - it acted as a kind of brake for the drum. Unfortunately I no longer own one of these to check.
