I don't think so, because these segments are used by people to build other tread configurations. So they must appear as parts. See 680/681/682 parts

type needs to be changed to "Subpart".
this file only gets put into the "Parts" folder for easy access by
MLCad users.
I do not like that workaround, as it is a shortcoming of tooling
which carries over into inconsistency of our library.
However, at least the type inside the file should be correct.
