I kind of agree with you, it's not the recommended practice. But it has been done several times in the past - precisely with eyes - to allow parts to be used with different background colors.

indeed the idea was to not being limited to use black colour only, but of cause i respect the standard. and i don't want an exhausting discussion like on part 3039p09, if you remember ;-)

this version now uses a subfile for the side pattern.
