The handle collides with 4629, it would be easy to increase the height of the notch in 4629 (give it a slightly elliptic shape) to avoid that.

The problem is bigger than the height of the support. The other assembly is also wrong.
I think that we have to question the position of the upper hole. It should be possible to push the lever past horizontal position.
I don't have the part, so I need help measuring it.
