yep.
I think additionally that the !HELP section can be replaced
by a simple sentence pointing to the ...c01 and ...c02 assemblies
instead of repeating their contents.

The problem is bigger than the height of the support.
I think that we have to question the position of the upper hole. It should be possible to push the lever past horizontal position.
I don't have the part, so I need help measuring it.
