yep.
I think additionally that the !HELP section can be replaced
by a simple sentence pointing to the ...c01 and ...c02 assemblies
instead of repeating their contents.

The problem is bigger than the height of the support.
I think that we have to question the position of the upper hole. It should be possible to push the lever past horizontal position.
I don't have the part, so I need help measuring it.

Changing the hole position will cause in problems with downwards compatibility. :-(
Nevertheless, I'm sure that I own this part and can try to rework it. but then we will have another obsolete part.
Opinions?

at the backside where the stick rests after lifting. The curve is to high. got a IRL part and the bottom of the curve is at the height of the centre of the lower holes.

Finally some new info here...Great, thanks!

Should I move just the bottom (stretch it), or the whole primitive, down?
Is the curve a half-circle or a half-oval?
I want this to be fixed now. I've held it back too long...

well, i just started this reviewing bussines and really try to help jou with anything i can. i measured the piece and the upward plates are 1mm thick, the bottom to the centre of the curve is about 1 3/4 mm.
the curve is round for i can say, so i suggest just to lower the half-circle to where it meets the holes halfway.

Well, I have this piece in my collection. But there wasn't time to dig it out. So if wanted, I can do a rework for sure. Please note my comment above, that these parts would be obsolete then, because they had been official and any movement of connection points will cause in a downwards incompatibility.

We may create a "type b" with correct geometry and "obsoletize" present version.

To me, this change is good enough, and without the need for any change of the shortcut files.
But if you would like to remake it as a "type b", I'll gladly review that file.
